What requirements of level sensor installation for manhole and pipelines?

Ultrasonic sensors are usually level continuous measurements. Non-contact, low cost and easy installation.Incorrect installation will affect normal measurement.

①Dead Band Attention During Installation of Ultrasonic Level Sensor

Different measuring range, different dead band.
If level in the range of dead band, ultrasonic level sensor does not work.

So installation need to avoid band range. And the height between senor and highest level need to be equal or bigger than dead band, to ensure the measurement accurate and sensor safe.

②Bracket Distance Attention During Installation of Ultrasonic Level Sensor

The sensor can not be too close to the well wall (especially if there are protrusions). Or the sound waves emitted by the sensor will be reflected back by the well wall. It causes incorrect data.  Generally speaking, the bracket distance is related to the sensor angle. Smaller angle, less influence by the well wall.

Our ultrasonic sensor A07 has a unilateral angle, about 7° only. Bracket distance 25~30cm is fine for installation.
